Hubby's Birthday Present!!

SHHH!! I made a PBA (paper bag album) as a present for my DH B-day coming up very soon. We always talk about the places we want to go see or things we want to do. But unless we make plans, buy tickets etc, we never seem to do them. SO, for his birthday, I made a Date Book. Each month I have something planned through Dec. The kids will be going with us for the Aug- Oct, but Nov and Dec are ours alone.

AUG: We are going on the Sacramento River train. The trip includes a train ride to a picnic bar-b-que lunch by the river. Along the way, (I have been told) numerous western characters will entertain us and have an old-fashioned gunfight (staged). What?? They are not going to ACTUALLY shoot each other.. come on.. (rolls eyes).

SEPT- We are going to Six Flag Marine World in Vallejo. It has been like 6 years since we have gone to the park. They have new rides that we NEED to experience!

OCT- We will be going on a Hysterical Comedy Ghost Tour. I have been told this walking tour is not typical. One moment we will be hearing ghost stories and the next we will be laughing out loud.

NOV- We will be celebrating 7 years together (married almost 6). So we will have dinner at the restaurant of our first date. The restaurant is called 50 Grand (hence the 50).

DEC- The TV show, Last Comic Standing is hosting a tour. We will be seeing the comics at the Cache Creek Casino.

I am very excited about the plans for the next 5 months. All tickets have been purchased and reservations made. I just hope he is excited as I am!!

A GIRL page!!

The BLING theme continues... What a treat to make a GIRL page! With two boys, I don't get to play with PRINCESS very often. My friend Erlee (isn't that a cute name?) will be receiving this as a PIF. Her daughter was a princess for Halloween so I played with that theme. This page just sparkles!

It's all about the BLING BABY!!

For the first Challenge on the Luckybug scrapbooking group, "Bling" is the theme. So, I decided to combine the challenge with a swap. Here are the first two pages. The swap is for my QSS group. The paper is from the DCWV Once Upon a Time stack. The papers are GORGEOUS! It is hard to tell by the photos, but the edge paper and the circle all have a cool golden glitter and the ribbon is gold sparkly to match. Not TOOO much BLING for these boy pages. It is a two page completed LO, ready to plop those pictures right on! The theme for the swap was prince. I cannot wait to get this swap back because I have a ton of pictures from the Renaissance Fair that will be PERFECT for these LO's.
